Soumyadip Das Mahapatra is a technology enthusiast with a passion for automation, distributed systems, systems design, and Linux system internals. With over 13 years of relevant experience, he has gained expertise in SRE, infrastructure, Big Data, Python, and software engineering. Soumyadip is currently working as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Twitter, where he is responsible for making Big Data Platforms scalable, reliable, and performant. Prior to his current role, Soumyadip worked at LinkedIn as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior System Engineer. At LinkedIn, he designed, reviewed, and developed systems aiming to automate various aspects of the production infrastructure. He was also a subject matter expert about all things related to the infrastructure. Soumyadip has a proven track record of scaling and automating infrastructure services, including Configuration Management, DNS, and beyond. Soumyadip is proficient in Python and has also learned Go. He enjoys breaking and re-building apps/systems and trying out new Open Source technologies. He has several GitHub projects, which can be found on his GitHub profile.
